The Tiffin University women's soccer team fell behind early in the 1st half and never recovered, losing 3-0 to the Ohio Dominican Panthers.
The Panthers found the net in the 17th minute of the 1st half, scoring on a shot from the top of the box to lead 1-0. The Dragons put pressure on the Panthers' defense, taking five shots in the half, but came up empty on all attempts. A little less than two minutes before the end of the 1st half, Ohio Dominican padded their lead with a goal from the right wing to lead 2-0.
The Dragons continued to send shots to the net in the 2nd half, pounding 10 in the half, but were denied by Ohio Dominican's netminder. ODU added an insurance goal in the 62nd minute to push their lead to 3-0.
Tiffin's defense surrendered 27 shots in the game, with goalkeeper Samantha Ortenzi saving 12 of the 15 shots on goal. Tiffin falls to 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the GLIAC.
