Tiffin University's men's wrestling team posted four placers at the Ohio Northern Invitational.
The Dragons finished 8th of 16 teams, totaling 85 points. Olivet won the invite with 160.5 points, followed by ONU with 144 and Adrian with 142.5.
TU was led by two third-place finishers. Jackson Collins took third at 133 pounds, getting a pin over Hiram in 1:13, a 9-3 win over Ohio Wesleyan, and a 16-0 tech fall over Heidelberg. After falling to Olivet 11-7, he posted two more wins - 17-2 over Heidelberg and flattening Ohio Northern in 2:03 for third place.
Also taking third was David Henson at 285 pounds. He opened with pins over Trine in 0:58 and Defiance in 0:38 while also getting a major decision 15-3 over Lycoming. After being pinned by Dubuque in 0:39, he bounced back to win by medical forfeit over Ohio Northern and no contest over Olivet.
Dylan Mansor (157) placed 6th, getting wins over ONU (pin 2:47), Dubuque 5-1, and Alma (pin 0:24).
Also taking 6th was Samuel Lofaso at 165 pounds. He got victories over Lycoming (pin 2:38), Muskingum (pin 3:42), Dubuque 9-5, and Adrian (MFF).
Also getting wins at ONU were Kolby Crowe at 149 (pin over Alma 4:37; 8-6 over Mount St. Joseph), Ashten Moody at 149 (pin over ONU 0:49, pin over ONU 0:42, pin over Ohio Wesleyan 1:43), Nicolas Smythe at 174 (pin over Muskingum 0:54), Iran Love at 184 (pin over Muskingum 2:07, pin over Heidelberg 2:25, 5-3 over Adrian), and Kian Thompson at 184 (pin over Adrian in 1:17, 5-2 over Dubuque, pin over Wilmington 0:54).
