Tiffin University's men's wrestling team has been ranked 22nd in the latest Open Mat rankings, with three wrestlers landing in the individual rankings.

Three GMAC schools made appearances in the rankings, with Ashland placing fifth and Findlay 15th. The Eagles held steady at fifth while the Oilers fell a spot. Tiffin dropped from two spots. 

Nicholas Mason was the highest-ranked TU wrestler, ranked third at 197 pounds. He is 4-1 on the season with two pins at the UIndy Duals.

Bryan LaVearn is ranked 11th at 165 pounds after a 6-1 start to his season, while Brandon Mendoza continues to hold at 16th at 125 pounds. Mendoza is off to a 5-3 start to his season heading into the Super 3 Regionals.
