Tiffin University's men's wrestling team has been ranked 11th in the latest Open Mat rankings, with three wrestlers landing in the individual rankings.

Three GMAC schools made appearances in the rankings, with Findlay placing fifth and Ashland seventh. The Oilers rose three spots and the Eagles two spots in the rankings, with the Dragons holding steady at 11th.

Nicholas Mason was the highest ranked TU wrestler, ranked second at 197 pounds. He is 2-0 on the season with two pins at the UIndy Duals.

Bryan LaVearn is ranked 11th at 165 pounds after a 1-1 start to his season, while Brandon Mendoza makes his first appearance in the rankings at 125 pounds. Mendoza is ranked 16th and is off to a 2-0 start to his season heading into the GMAC Championships.
