Tiffin University (3-12, 3-5 GMAC) easily outpaced Ursuline on the road, posting a 16-1 decision.
The Dragons amassed an 11-0 lead by halftime and led 16-0 before allowing a goal in the closing minutes.
Rylee Sutherland and Jenny Bates each had two goals after the first quarter. Angela Lulejian added two goals in the second quarter, while Bates continued her scoring with two more goals as the Dragons had a commanding lead by the intermission.
Overall TU outshot the Arrows 34-10 while also holding a 16-8 lead in ground balls and a 14-6 edge in draw controls. The Dragons' defense also forced 17 turnovers while only committing 5 of their own. Overall TU had 10 caused turnovers.
Sutherland finished with 4 goals and 2 assists while Lulejian had 4 goals and 1 assist. Bates finished with 4 goals as well, while Daniela Carey had a goal and 2 assists with 3 ground balls. Gabby Wilson had a goal, assist, and 10 draws. Isabella Piccione finished with a goal and 3 ground balls, and Hannah Unkefer tallied a goal.
Jenay Rennie got the win in goal, making 7 saves while allowing just one goal over 60 minutes.
