Tiffin University (2-12, 2-5 GMAC) started well against Walsh but had a tough final three quarters, falling on the road 15-5.
TU led 4-1 after one quarter, getting goals from Rylee Sutherland, Gabby Wilson, Jenny Bates, and Daniela Carey.
Walsh started to come back with a 4-0 second quarter, taking a 5-4 lead into halftime.
The Dragons could not figure out Walsh's defense, as Walsh held TU to just one goal the rest of the game. They posted a 14-1 scoring advantage over the Dragons over the final three quarters.
Overall Walsh outshot TU 34-18 while also holding leads in draw controls 14-9 and ground balls 24-18. TU also committed 19 turnovers.
Wilson finished with a goal, assist, 5 ground balls, and 5 draws. Carey had a goal, assist, and 4 ground balls. Bates posted two goals.
