Tiffin University (3-2) had a strong showing offensively, racing out to an early lead and never looking back in a 16-5 win at UVA-Wise.
The Dragons opened with a 5-0 outburst by the 13:22 mark, as Elle Hamilton tallied two goals while Amie Morrison, Ashley Osbeck, and Danielle Roberts also got goals.
TU kept up the assault, with Osbeck getting another goal as the Dragons amassed a 8-2 lead at halftime.
Tiffin never let up, coming out of the halftime break on an extended 7-1 run over the next 20 minutes to put the game away.
Tiffin outshot Wise 27-23, including a 13-6 margin in the second half, while also holding a commanding 15-8 lead in draw controls. The defense also did its job, executing 15 of 20 clear attempts.
Hamilton had another strong game, totaling 4 goals with 3 assists along with 7 draws and 3 ground balls. Morrison and Osbeck each had 3 goals and an assist, with Morrison also getting 3 ground balls.
Daniela Carey and Roberts had 2 goals each, while Maddy Batley had a goal and assist with 8 draws. Leah Davis also added a goal.
Kat Schneeberger got the win in goal, making 11 saves over 60 minutes.
