Elle MacMillan and Tiffany Anderson have been selected to play in the IWLCA Division II Senior All-Star Lacrosse game.
The IWLCA has announced the rosters for the 2018 Senior All-Star games for Division I, II, and III. The 44 players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 2, 2018. The Division I teams will play the first game at 11:30 am, the Division II game will follow at 1:00 pm, and the Division III teams will cap off the event with their game at 2:30 pm. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The games will also be web-streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
MacMillan and Anderson were selected for the South All-Star team. They were two of four GLIAC players selected on the South squad.
MacMillan is a Second Team All Region pick. She was also a First Team All GLIAC pick, compiling 66 goals, 10 assists, 76 points, 26 ground balls, and 58 draw controls. In the GLIAC she ranks 2nd in goals, 2nd in shots, 4th in points, and 5th in free position goal percentage. At Tiffin, her 102 goals are 6th most, and her 115 points are 8th most all-time.
Anderson's career has been a good one at Tiffin, seeing action in 60 career games. This season Anderson set career highs in goals (20), assists (8), points (28), ground balls (43), and draw controls (34). She is a Honorable Mention All GLIAC selection.
