Dragons stumble at Indianapolis 9-7

Tiffin University's offense stumbled in the second half at Indianapolis, failing to score over the final 22 minutes in a 9-7 loss that also saw a 3 hour, 30 minute lightning delay.

TU (11-4, 5-1 GLIAC) started the game allowing two goals but bounced back to take a 4-3 lead with 10:31 left in the half.

But a harbinger of things to come appeared over the remaining minutes, as TU's offense failed to score the rest of the half while the Greyhounds tallied three goals to take a 6-4 lead into the halftime break.

Shortly after the second half started, the Dragons tied the score with two goals. Tied 6-6, the game took a long 3 hour, 30 minute break due to weather.

Amie Morrison got a goal for TU at the 22:06 mark to give the Dragons a 7-6 lead, but it was the last goal they would score all night. The Dragons managed just 3 more shots the rest of the game, with UIndy making two saves. The Greyhounds answered with 3 goals and wound the clock down to get the victory.

The Greyhounds held a 26-16 shot edge, while the Dragons also committed 15 turnovers while forcing only 11. 

Amanda Flotteron led the team with 2 goals, while Gina Abulone had a goal and 2 assists. Morgan Sherley had a goal and assist, while Tori Nelson, Morrison, and Elle MacMillan all had goals. Elle Hamilton also had an assist with 4 caused turnovers.
