Tiffin University was in third place after round one of the NCAA East Regional played at Kansas City, Missouri.

The Dragons shot 307, 15 strokes off the pace of first-place Findlay (292). Indianapolis was in second place, just two strokes ahead of TU with 305.

Lisa Marie Schumacher led the Dragons, tying for 8th overall with 74. Her score positions her three strokes behind the leader Jill Schmitmeyer of Findlay with 71.

The top five Dragons were all within five strokes of each other, with Jordan Van Meter next in line with 76. Michaela Lindahl was next with 78, followed by Amanda Johansson and Alexis Savage with 79 apiece.

The Dragons will be back at it in round two action on May 3. The top five teams advance to the NCAA National Championships.
