Dragons Runner-up at TU Fall Invitational

Tiffin University finished runner-up at the TU Fall Invitational, falling in a one-hole playoff to Findlay after the two teams tied following the first two rounds.

The one-hole playoff was decided by a single stroke, as Findlay posted 4 birdies to TU's 3.

The Dragons improved from 313 to 310 on day two for a total of 623, but the Oilers matched them with a big round two, cutting 11 strokes off from round one (317 to 306) to also finish with 623. Walsh came in third with 641.

Amanda Johansson finished second overall, as TU placed four golfers in the top eight. Johansson shot equal rounds of 76 for a 152 total. Bella Harris was 4th, staying consistent with 78 and 77 for 155. Alice Putoud and Jordan Van Meter tied for 8th, but got there differently as Putoud cut three strokes off her round one score (81-78) while Van Meter added 3 strokes (78-81) as they both posted scores of 159. Emily Koehler also finished 13th, cutting 3 strokes on day two (82-79) with a 161 total.

The Dragons' B squad finished 11th in the 14 team field. Alexis Savage had a strong round two, finishing 7th overall by cutting 7 strokes off her score (82-75) for a 157 total.

Other Dragons golfers included Kaylynn Adkins (175), Emily Bogner (189), Sophia Compton (196), and Allyson Rosen (214). Individuals included Ashley Franklin (204) and Isabel Sanchez (215).
