Tiffin University sat in second place after day one of the G-MAC Fall Preview played at The Pearl Club in Owensoboro, Kentucky.
Only Findlay posted a better score than Tiffin in the nine-team field, finishing with 294. Tiffin shot 308 while Malone was right behind with 310.
The Dragons landed three golfers in the Top 11, with Amanda Johansson sitting in 6th place with 75. Emily Koehler was in 8th place with 76, and Alexis Savage was 11th with 78. Alice Putoud kept the pack score close, shooting 79 in the first round, while Bella Harris was fifth for the Dragons with 89.
