Dragons in 6th after first day of NCAA Regional

Tiffin University's women's golf team completed the opening round of the NCAA Division 2 Women's East Regional played at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky, finishing 6th of 12 teams.
 
Indianapolis leads the pack with 292 followed by Grand Valley State with 299. Findlay was 3rd with 303 while Tiffin was 21 strokes off the lead with 313.
 
Alice Putoud led the team with 77 and tied for 18th overall in the event. Alexis Savage was right behind with 78 while Amanda Johansson and Emily Koehler shot 79. Koehler's day was highlighted by a hole-in-one on hole three. Melissa Gabriele also fired 85.
