Lady Dragons finish 2nd after first day of G-MAC Championship

Tiffin University's women's golf team continued their strong play this spring, finishing in second place after the first day of the GMAC Championship held at the University Club of Kentucky Wildcat Course in Lexington, Kentucky.
 
TU shot 319 in round one and 335 in round two for 654 overall, trailing leader Findlay with 632 (320-312). Walsh finished day one right behind TU with 661 (331-330).
 
Alice Putoud and Emily Koehler led the Dragons, tying for 7th overall. Putoud shot 76 and 85 for 161 while Koehler totaled 81 and 80 for 161.
  
The next three golfers were all within five strokes. Alexis Savage was next with 168 (81-87) while Amanda Johansson was next with 87 and 83 for 170. Melissa Gabriele also stayed near the pack with 173 (81-92).
