Tiffin University's women's golf team was second after day one of the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff played at Saddlebrook Resort & Spa in Tampa, Florida.
Northern Michigan led the field with 336 while the Dragons were next with 339. Ferris State was right on TU's heels with 361 followed by Walsh with 369.
Amanda Johansson led the Dragons with 78, outshooting the rest of the field by 4 strokes. She was the only player in the 70s while Alice Putoud was next for TU with 84. Melissa Gabriele and Alexis Savage finished day one with 88 and 89, respectively. Emily Koehler rounded out the field for TU with 92.
