Tiffin University's women's golf team didn't take long in the 2018-19 season to make their mark.
The Lady Dragons took 1st place out of 10 teams at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial Tournament held at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance, Ohio.
The Dragons won the event with a 312, while Albion was right behind with 342. Third place went to Siena Heights with 347, while Trine finished 4th (348). Lourdes finished 5th with a score of 394.
Alice Putoud led TU with a 73 (36-37), while Amanda Johansson shot a 79 (40-39). Emily Koehler shot 76 (37-39), while Alexis Savage (84) and Melissa Gabriele (91) also hit well. Putoud, Koehler, and Johansson finished in the top three spots at the tourney.
