Tiffin University won the Spiess Memorial in their opening tourney of the season.

Tiffin University's women's golf team opened its 2017-18 season in fine fashion, winning the 14-team Jon Spiess Memorial Tournament played at Eagle Rock Golf Course.
The Dragons clipped runner-up Siena Heights 330-339 and had two of their Gold squad landing on the All Tournament team.
Staci Ludwig came in 2nd overall, shooting 79 (41-38) to claim one spot, while Alice Putoud was right behind with 80 (39-41) for the other spot.
Sarah Herb also finished close to the pack, shooting 43-40 for 83, while Emily Koehler shot 43-45 for 88. Melissa Gabriele was fifth on the Gold team with 92.
TU's Green team also finished 10th overall. Brooklyn Keaton shot 96, while Kyla Johnson had 101 and Paige Lea had 105.
