Moore Signs With Women's Basketball

Jayden Moore has announced her intention to continue her athletic and academic careers at Tiffin University.

Moore is a 5'8" guard from Sandusky, Ohio and Margaretta High School. During her current senior season, Moore's career stat line reads 13.8 points per game, nine rebounds per game, four assists per game, and four steals per game.

Moore is a standout athlete at Margaretta, competing at a high level with four varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, and softball. In basketball, she has been named All-SBC three times (2x first team), All-District 6 three times (2x first team), and All-Ohio twice. Her junior year was especially noteworthy, earning First Team All-SBC honors, the SBC Most Outstanding Performer, First Team District 6, First Team Northwest District, and Second Team All-Ohio. As a senior so far this season, Moore has achieved a pair of significant milestones, reaching both 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds.

Moore's high school is currently ranked third in their division and in first place in the SBC. A season ago, the team won both the SBC and District championships.

"Tiffin is getting a great competitor and a real winner in Jayden Moore,"  said Moore's AAU coach, John Cahill of the Northcoast Showtime.

She has also been named All-District for volleyball and All-SBC, All-District, and Honorable Mention All-Ohio for softball during her time at Margaretta.

Academically, Moore is a member of National Honor Society, Student Government, and Ruri-Teen, and has been on the honor roll and named Academic All-SBC all four years of high school.
