Series History:

Tiffin and Trevecca Nazarene have played each other just once since the Dragons joined Division II, and that meeting came earlier this season in Tiffin on Dec. 8. The Trojans used a 19-10 third quarter advantage to pull away and take a 72-64 win. Ali Schirmer (18 points) and Annie Santucci (16) were the only Dragons in double figures, while the Trojans had four with more than ten points, led by Callie Hackett's 17.

Similarly, Tiffin and Kentucky Wesleyan's only meeting came earlier this season as well on Dec. 6. TU led by six after the first quarter, but the Panthers came alive in the second and third to run away with an 82-65 win. KWC shot over 50% from deep, led by Emma Johnson going 4-5 from the three-point line and scoring a game-high 21 points. Santucci and Allie Miller each had 18 to lead the Dragons.

Dragon Details:

Tiffin's four-game win streak came to a close last weekend in a pair of defeats to Hillsdale and Findlay.

On Thursday, Hillsdale jumped out to a 31-15 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 90-72 win. Tiffin was able to have five players in double-figures though, led by Jensen Hiegel with 14. Aarion Nichols also added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists for her second career double-double.

Tiffin took Findlay down to the wire on Saturday, as they were tied at 63 with three and a half minutes to play, but the Oilers pulled away late for a 75-66 victorySarah Cummings led TU with a career-high-tying 17 points, while Annie Santucci and Allie Miller tallied 16 apiece.

Scouting the Trojans:

Scouting the Panthers:

Kentucky Wesleyan enters the weekend as perhaps the hottest team in Division II women's basketball, as they have won 13-straight and not lost since Dec. 13. The Panthers sit atop the GMAC with a conference record of 13-1 and an overall record of 17-3. KWC leads the G-MAC with 78.3 points per game and is third with 61.6 points allowed per contest, leading to a conference-topping 16.8 scoring margin. She is also five assists away from reaching eighth-place in the Dragon record books for career assists. Allie Miller broke into the TU career made three-pointers top-10 list in the Ohio Dominican game a few weeks ago, now sitting in eighth with 122. Freshman Jasmine Watts has been a force on defense down low, and is just 10 blocks away from entering the single-season blocks top-10 at Tiffin.
