The Tiffin University women's basketball team led for two-thirds of the game on Wednesday afternoon, but the University of Indianapolis used a 23 point 4th quarter to topple Tiffin 60-58.

The 1st quarter was fast paced as the two sides combined to hit six triples. The Greyhounds were a tick better on the scoreboard as they held a 14-10 advantage after a quarter of play. 

Tiffin's defense was tough in the 2nd quarter, holding Indianapolis to 26% shooting from the field and scoreless from beyond the arc. Tiffin's offense kicked it into gear while Indy was idle, scoring 18 points on 46.7% shooting to hold a 28-24 lead at the break.

In the 3rd quarter, the Dragons and Greyhounds were practically even as Tiffin outscored Indianapolis 14-13. Tiffin's defense continued to cause big problems for Indianapolis, holding the Greyhounds to 29% shooting in the quarter.

With a lead and headed to the 4th quarter, Tiffin looked in line to win their 3rd straight game, but the Greyhounds had other plans. Indianapolis outscored Tiffin 23-17, hitting 46.2% of their attempts and finished a perfect 8 for 8 from the foul line to trip up Tiffin 60-58.

The Dragons were led by Allie Miller with 18 points and five rebounds. Aida Martin was good off the bench for the Dragons netting 11 points, and Victoria Burdo pitched in with 10 points on 4 of 7 shooting.

The Dragons fall to 2-3 overall.
