Tiffin University (2-3, 0-1 GLIAC) opened the first two quarters cold at Northwood, falling behind by 25 points at the half en route to a 86-67 loss in the Dragons' GLIAC opener.

The Dragons fell behind 17-4 to start the game and eventually dropped the first quarter 24-11. They they endured a 17-2 run early in the second quarter as the Timberwolves jumped ahead in a big way. TU trailed at the break 51-26.

Northwood shot 50 percent from the floor while TU finished at 42 percent. While Northwood won the rebounding battle 38-27, they also forced 20 TU turnovers leading to 30 Northwood points.

Bre Nauman scored 13 points to lead the team, while Kiley May had 12 and Kristen Massey had 10 off the bench. Deidre McKay scored 9 points while Ali Schirmer had 6 points and 5 rebounds.
