Cassie Bump named Head Stunt Coach

Cassie Bump has been named Head Stunt Coach at Tiffin University.

Bump most recently served as Cheer Coach at Ottawa University from 2019-21 where she oversaw the expansion of the program, choreographed competition and gameday routines, and coached 50 student-athletes.

While coaching the Ottawa University Spirit Squad, she led the team to four national championship titles. In 2021, Ottawa was UCA Show Cheer COED National Champions, while also winning national titles in Band Chant, Fight Song, and Game Day Performance. They also were 2020 UCA Show Cheer COED National Runner-ups.

While also serving as Dysart High School's Cheer Coach over the same period, she led a team that finished USA COED National Runner-up in 2021. They finished 3rd at Nationals in 2020.

Bump has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Grand Canyon University and a master's degree in Business Administration from Ottawa University.

"We are so excited for Cassie to start as Stunt/Cheer coach," said Athletic Director Lonny Allen. "We are committed to having a first-class program and believe that Cassie will provide an experience that our student-athletes want and deserve. Stunt will be a Great Midwest Athletic Conference sponsored sport in 2022-23 and we are looking forward to competing for the GMAC title."
