Tiffin University's softball team achieved an impressive academic achievement.
The Dragons, coached by Paige McMenemy, placed 4th in NCAA Division II with a 3.77 team GPA, the highest finish ever for a TU softball team.
The NFCA announced the national Top 10, with Post leading the field with a 3.82 GPA. Central Missouri was next with 3.81 while Regis (CO) was third with 3.778. TU tied with Indianapolis for fourth with the 3.77 mark.
This is a leap of 12 spots from last season when TU was 20th with a 3.64 GPA. This marks the second consecutive year the Dragons finished as the highest-finishing G-MAC school.
