Tiffin University (1-3) dropped its final two games in Owensboro, Kentucky, falling to Rockhurst 5-0 and Indianapolis 11-5.

The Dragons could not get the offense going against Rockhurst, managing just two hits along with two walks.

TU's only chance with a runner in scoring position came in the second inning. Chloe Swaisgood walked and Chelsey Trusty followed with a single with two outs. A grounder to short ended the chance for Tiffin.

Shelbey Spurlock took the loss, allowing just one earned run over 6 innings. She gave up 4 hits along with 5 walks.

Brooklynn Esser and Trusty had the lone hits for Tiffin.

In the nightcap, the Dragons found themselves down 4-0 in the fourth inning. Tiffin put together a two-run inning, as Madie Legg singled followed by Logan Bush's walk. After a sacrifice moved them up to second and third, Kaylee Savage singled them both home to pull TU to within 4-2.

The Greyhounds turned up the attack on their end, totaling 7 runs over the next three innings including four in the 6th inning to put the game away.

Tiffin rallied in the bottom of the 7th for three runs. Savage smacked a single followed by Esser's walk. Brooke Lambert then cleared the bases with a 2-RBI triple. With two outs, Haylie Miller stroked a single to plate Tiffin's final run.

The Dragons now will travel to Florida for 10 games on Spring Break starting Feb. 29.
