TU competes at All Ohio Championships

Tiffin University competed at the All Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University, with James Ngandu winning for the second consecutive year with a commanding lead.

Ngandu crossed the line in first with a time of 24:14.9, over 48 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. He led TU to a 6th place finish out of 12 teams with 169 points. Malone won the men's race with 42 points while Walsh followed with 45.

Stephen Korir was next for TU in 27th place in 26:36.5, while Josh Jaster crossed the line in 39th. Trenton Yoder was 54th and Chase Brentlinger was 67th.

In the women's race, Winny Chirchir was the top TU finisher in 53rd place in 25:35.2, while Alyse Dietz was 61st in 25;47.5. Overall TU was 9th with 241 points. Walsh had 43 to win it while Malone had 48.

Jada Gilliam finished 71st with Ruthie Wyant right behind in 73rd. Jordan Grzegorczyk was fifth for TU in 82nd place.
