Ngandu sets course record at Kentucky Wesleyan

The Men's Cross Country team competed at the Fast Cats Classic on Saturday.  The Dragons finished 5th out of 14 teams with a score of 159.

James Ngandu continues to scamper past his opponents with another tournament win to add to his resume.  Ngandu cruised to a course-record time of 24:41.160, nearly a full minute ahead of Nathan Riggs of Centre 24:41.160.  

Other top finishes for the Dragons were Nico Hudson in 30th place with a time of 28:05.290, Trenton Yoder in 41st place  with a time of 28:28.086, Christopher McKown in 46th place with a time of 28:39.683, Adrian Perea-Adams in 51st place with a time of 28:50.590, Isaac Boateng in 60th place with a time of 29:11.840 and Daniel Maher in 64th place with a time of 29:17.880.

Tiffin University's Women's Cross Country team finished 8th out of 11 teams.

The Dragons' top finisher was Kaitlyn Mathews in 36th place with a time of 20:58.743.  Other top finishers for the Dragons were Kimea Lawrence in 45th place with a time of 21:21.953, Alyse Dietz in 56th place with a time of 21:49.746, Sydney Schmidt in 57th place with a time of 21:51.206, Jada Gilliam in 73rd place with a time of 22:51.690, Jordan Grzegorczy in 77th place with a time of 23:01.770 and Mackenzie Briggs in 80th place with a time of 23:18.083.

The Dragons next race will be October 22nd at the GLIAC Championships in Big Rapids, Michigan.
