The Tiffin University men's track and field did well at the Warrior Opener hosted by Indiana Tech.

Cade Carter took first place in the pole vault with a mark of 4.70 meters.

Malachi Adams finished third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.59.

Josh Bishop took second in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:28.59.

Benedict Draghi finished second in the discus with a throw of 50.60 meters, hitting an NCAA DII provisional mark.

Two Tiffin athletes finished in the top ten in the hammer throw. Jacob McPherson was seventh with a throw of 57.90 meters, and Vincent Volpe came in ninth with a throw of 57.22 meters.

Nicholas Runco came in sixth in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:56.15.

Jaylen Lasseter took fifth in the 1500-meter race, recording a time of 3:59.72.

Elijah Miller finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.57 meters.

Two Dragons came in the top ten in the triple jump as Rheece Heim took seventh with a mark of 11.39 meters and teammate Clyde Brown was ninth with a mark of 12.25 meters.

Dean Johnson was ninth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 56.23.

Garrett Hoepf came in ninth in the high jump with a leap of 1.87 meters.

The 4 x 400 relay team grabbed third with a time of 3:15.47.
