Dragons Soar in Reggie Thomas Classic

The men's track and field squad hosted the Reggie Thomas Classic.

A trio of Dragons' throwers hit NCAA DII provisional marks as John Casper led the way with a mark of 19.67 meters, Benedict Draghi was fourth with a mark of 18.73 meters, and Jacob McPherson in fifth with a throw of 18.68 meters.

Collin Jasin took first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.86 meters, an NCAA DII provisional mark.

Jacob McPherson finished first in the shot put with a provisional mark of 16.50 meters and Benedict Draghi came in second with a mark of 16.27 meters. Brock Carlson was fifth with a throw of 15.67 meters.

The duo of Kyron Rogers and Elijah Miller came in fifth and sixth in the long jump with leaps of 6.42 meters and 6.40 meters.

Dalton Gleeson took first place in the 1200 meter race with a time of 3:10.23, then Ryan Jensen came in third with a time of 3:14.57.

Kyron Rogers finished fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.06 and teammate Michael McNeil finished seventh with a time of 7.10.

Three Dragons came in the top eight in the 60 hurdles with Dean Johnson leading the way with a second-place finish and a time of 8.49, Brandon Elmes in sixth with a time of 8.79, and Allen Neal in seventh with a time of 9.15.

Michael McNeil took second in the 400 with a time of 51.11 and third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.43.

Dorian Holida finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 13.67 meters.

Anthony Nickerson finished fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:00.16.

Nathaniel Ondracek took first in the 3000 with a time of 8:40.98 and Jaylen Lasseter in fourth with a time of 8:55.09.
