Men's Track squad makes their mark at Last Chance meets

Tiffin University had standout performances at both Hillsdale College and the University of Mount Olive, as the track squad starts a weekend of hitting numerous Last Chance meets in preparation for the NCAA National Championships. 
 
The Dragons hit twelve provisional marks in multiple meets.
 
Davis Bowers took first in the pole vault at Mount Olive, hitting an NCAA mark of 5.02. He was followed by Collin Jasin and Cameron Burrows, who both hit provisional marks for TU with 4.82 meters.
 
Cameron Burrows also hit another provisional mark in long jump, placing 3rd with a mark of 7.28m.
 
Errik Snell placed second in the 110 meter hurdles with a provisional mark of 14.18.
 
At Hillsdale College, Nikolas Curtiss finished second in the shot put with a provisional mark of 18.02 meters while Jabari Bennett finished 3rd with a qualifying mark of 18 meters. Eric Jackson also hit the standard with a 4th place mark of 16.35m. Jackson also hit a provisional mark in the discus throw by placing second with 50.28m.
 
Two more qualifiers came in the hammer throw. Toryko Grace placed 6th with a provisional mark of 59.20 meters, while Tristen Durr was 8th with another mark of 59.08m. Quincy Scott placed 4th in the long jump and Jonte Baker placed 6th in the 200-meter run.
 
The 4x100 relay squad of Tajarie Arthurton, Jonte Baker, Lamar Hargrove, and Quincy Scott also hit the Provo mark in 40.36.
