Dragons excel at multiple California meets

Tiffin University had standout performances at both the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Cal State LA Twilight Open, Mt. Sac Relays and the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, California.
 
The Dragons won 4 first place finishes and also hit 14 provisional marks. Two of those marks came from Toryko Grace, who won in the Hammer throw and Discus throw with a mark of 60.42m and 49.98m, respectively at the Cal State LA Twilight Open.
 
Nikolas Curtiss also took first in the shot put with a provisional mark of 18.13 meters while garnering 3rd in the Hammer with another provisional mark of 55.26m. Jabari Bennett finished 2nd in shot put with a qualifying mark of 17.72m, and Eric Jackson also hit the standard in the shot put with a 4th place mark of 16.29m.
 
Also hitting provisional marks was Collin Jasin in the pole vault with an NCAA mark of 4.95m followed by Davis Bowers who hit another provisional mark for TU with 4.80 meters.
 
Wan'ya Williams brought two 3rd place marks for the Dragons at the Cal State LA Twilight Open, in 100 meters (10.92) and in the 200-meter run (22.07).
 
Tristen Durr hit two more provisional marks for TU. Durr placed 7th (61.25m) and 24th (59.62m) in the Hammer throw at the Mt. Sac Relays and Beach Invitational, respectively. 
 
Three more provisional marks were hit, as Jonte Baker took 4th in the 100 with a time of 10.33 and Lamar Hargrove hit another NCAA mark in the 100 meters, placing 12th in 10.55. Quincy Scott placed 13th in the long jump with a provisional mark of 7.30m.
 
TU's 4x100m relay team also hit a provisional mark by finishing 2nd, as the team of Tajarie Arthurton, Baker, Elijah Gauldin, and Zion Cross posted a time of 40.72.
 
Other top finishers for TU were Wavell Hinds, who finished 13th in 110 hurdles, with Errik Snell finishing 19th.
