Dragons open outdoor season at Miami Blizzard Buster

Tiffin University's men's track and field team posted three first-place finishes and hit a pair of provisional marks while competing at the Miami Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
 
TU's field team excelled, hitting a couple of provisional marks. Toryko Grace won the Discus with a provisional mark of 50.39m while Tristen Durr also hit a provisional mark in the hammer throw, finishing in 2nd place (58.07m).
 
Other winners were Collin Jasin in the pole vault with 4.67m. while Terson Modeste won in the High jump with 1.91m. Modeste also placed 6th in the Javelin. 
 
Eric Jackson finished runner up in the Discus (49.01m) and Jaelin Williams finished 2nd in the Triple Jump with 13.23m.
 
Third place finishes were by Robert Taylor (Discus 13.14m), and Nikolas Curtiss (Hammer 53.60m). Lovell Peterson took third in the discus (47.37m) and he also placed 6th in Hammer. 
 
Other top finishers for TU were Jacob McPherson (4th in discus), Alex Fee (6th in discus), Richard VanBoxel (6th in pole vault), Zachery Majeski (6th in high jump), Matt Ryser (7th in hammer), and Dylan Kendle (7th in Javelin).
 
Tiffin's men's relay team of Nicholas Runco, Stephen Korir, Jordan Hill, and Josh Jaster placed 4th in the 4x800m relay.
