Dragons lead field after first day at Hillsdale

Tiffin University competed at the Hillsdale Wide-Track Classic, with the men's team hitting 5 provisional marks on day one.
 
Toryko Grace won the weight throw with a mark of 20.67 meters, hitting an NCAA provisional mark. He was followed by Tristen Durr, who hit another provisional mark (19.07m) while Nikolas Curtiss placed 4th with a provisional mark (18.15m).
 
Tajarie Arthurton also posted a win in the 200 meter dash championship, crossing the line in 22.07 seconds for another NCAA mark, while Davis Bowers brought another provisional mark for TU in Pole Vault (4.87m) by placing third. 
 
Quincy Scott finished 2nd in the long jump with 6.86m. and Dorian Holida finished 3rd with 6.83m. 
 
Zion Cross crossed 2nd in 200 meters (22.56) while Errik Snell crossed the line 3rd with 22.60.
 
Drew Hickman placed 3rd in the 200 meter dash championship (22.14) and Jordan Hill finished 4th in the 5000 meter championship (16:12.00).
