The Tiffin University men's outdoor track and field continued their strong performance in the classroom, finishing as the runner-up USTFCCCA Scholar Team of the Year. Tiffin took the honor twice during the indoor season back in 2016 and 2017. Individually, the Dragons had six student-athletes earn All-Academic honors. As a unit, Coach Croy's outdoor men's team posted a 3.03 GPA this past season.
Davis Bowers, Duane Boyd, Cameron Burrows, Nikolas Curtis, Michael King, and Vincent Vogel all were honored with the USTFCCCA All-Academic citation. Including the Scholar Athletes of the Year, a total of 308 men earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2017-18 track & field seasons. To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
