TU hits more provisional marks at Kent State

Tiffin University's men's track and field squad had a limited number of athletes at the Kent State Tune-up, but still hit some impressive NCAA marks.

Leading the way was Vincent Vogel, who nailed an automatic NCAA qualifying mark by winning the long jump with a leap of 7.62 meters. Cameron Burrows also hit a provisional mark with a 3rd place leap of 7.35 meters.

The 4x400 relay team of Chance Abbitt, Michael King, Shaquille Hildreth, and Drew Hickman won their race with a provisional mark of 3:14.18.

Also landing provisional marks were Davis Bowers in the pole vault (4th place with 4.90) and Burrows in the high jump (4th place with 2.05).

Other top finishers for TU were Stephen Korir (4th in mile in 4:22.41) and Josh Jaster (6th in 1000 meters).
