TU excels at multiple meets

Tiffin University's men's track and field squad hit 7 provisional marks at the Jet's Pizza Invitational and the Findlay Elite Throws Invitational.

The Dragons won five events in Saginaw, Michigan, with three of those wins producing NCAA provisional marks. Errik Snell won the 60 hurdles in 8.09, while Jonte Baker also won the 60 meter dash in 6.80. Jalon Monigan hit yet another provisional mark in winning the triple jump with 15.18 meters.

Mackenzi Rickman took second in the 60 hurdles in 8.13 for another NCAA mark, while three throwers hit provisional marks at Findlay. Toryko Grace was 9th with 18.04 meters in the weight throw, while Nikolas Curtiss was 2nd in the shot put with 17.89 followed by Eric Jackson with 17.80.

TU also got first place finishes from Cameron Burrows in the high jump with 2.03 meters, while the 4x400 relay team of Drew Hickman, Brandon Lynn, Shaquille Hildreth, and Chance Abbitt won in 3:18.16.
