Dragons Sweep Panthers, Improve to 2-0 in GMAC Play

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Tiffin men's tennis made quick work of Kentucky Wesleyan on Sunday, rolling to a 5-0 victory.

With the win, the Dragons improve to 9-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

TU did not drop a set in the two doubles matches that were played, as the pairings of Nikita Parfenov/Toby Cutting and Babriel Belli de Oliveira/Austin Mohamedali swept their opponents. KWC did not have enough players to field a third doubles team with five at the match.

In singles, Parfenov started things off with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep, followed by Sorin Navrotchi and Tom Arias each earning 6-0, 6-1 victories.

With the four points in hand for TU, singles 4 and 5 went unfinished. The fifth and final point came from No. 6 singles, which the Panthers were forced to forfeit.

Next up for the Dragons is a home match against Findlay next Sunday, Apr. 7 at 9:00 a.m.
