Dragons Pick Up First Win of Spring

DELAWARE, Ohio - Tiffin men's tennis only dropped one singles match and one doubles match on their way to a 7-2 victory over Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday evening.

Santiago de la Rosa Mora had a great day on the courts for the Dragons, winning his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) before teaming up with Hugo Chatras for an 8-6 win in doubles. Chatras also went 2-0 on the day, picking up a 6-3, 6-4 win in No. 6 singles.

Tom Arias was the third Dragon to win both his singles and doubles matches on the evening, as he took his No. 5 singles match 6-2, 6-3 before joining Nikita Parfenov for an 8-6 win in doubles.

Sorin Navrotchi (6-3, 6-4 at No. 3) and Toby Cutting (6-2, 6-4 at No. 4) picked up the other singles wins for Tiffin in the match.

The Dragons will take the courts again in a week when they travel to Lexington, Ohio for a pair of neutral site matches against Indiana Tech on Saturday and Purdue Northwest on Sunday.
