Tiffin University (8-11, 1-4 GLIAC) tried to get back on track in the conference race but had to take on first-place Ferris State and could not pull off the upset, falling 6-3.

The Bulldogs (15-2, 5-0 in the GLIAC) held a 2-1 lead after doubles play. Luis Ludena/Elio Lezama Perez battled for a tough 8-5 win at first doubles but TU could not manage another point in doubles play. Sorin Navrotchi/Nikita Parfenov fell 8-3 and Toby Cutting/Tom Arias lost 8-5.

The Dragons got a tough three set win from Cutting 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in singles play, while Santiago de la Rosa Mora also won in straight sets 7-5, 6-2. Ludena fell in a war at first singles 7-5, 2-6, 7-6, but TU's other losses were all straight sets. Parfenov fell 7-5, 6-4, while Arias lost 6-3, 6-4 and Navrotchi fell 6-2, 6-1.
