Tiffin University (9-3) had their toughest matches early, gutting out three close doubles matches before dominating singles play to beat Cedarville 9-0.
Luis Ludena/Toby Cutting opened things up at first doubles, posting a narrow 8-4 decision. Elio Lezama Perez/Justin Kopronica and Agustin Mangone/Sorin Navrotchi had even tougher matches, both winning by slim 8-6 margins.
Holding a 3-0 lead entering singles play, the Dragons had little trouble finishing strong. In winning five of the six singles matches, TU allowed Cedarville a total of only 10 games won. Ludena, Lezama, and Kopronica all won by 6-1, 6-1 scores, while Cutting posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory. TU also pulled out the day's closest match, as Mangone won 6-2, 4-6, 10-6.
