Tiffin University (7-3) played well against another ranked opponent, nipping 13th ranked Coastal Georgia 5-4 in a match that saw the bottom three singles positions come up big.
Holding a 2-1 lead after doubles play, the 4-6 singles spots all picked up wins to put the match away for TU. Toby Cutting won 6-4, 6-4 while Sorin Navrotchi also won 6-3, 6-3. Justin Kopronica had a huge win at fifth singles, outlasting his opponent 6-3, 2-6, 10-6.
Elio Lezama Perez fell in another tough three setter 7-5, 5-7, 7-5, while Andrew Isaac also lost in three 6-2, 4-6, 7-6. Luis Ludena fell by default.
In doubles, Ludena/Cutting won 8-2 while Isaac/Lezama won 8-2 also. Agustin Mangone/Navrotchi lost 8-5.
