Tiffin University fell to Wayne State in their opening men's swim meet of the year, falling in a close one 108-90.

Nick Jefferson got his season off to a good start, winning the 1 meter and 3 meter dive. He posted a total of 222.60 in the 1 meter and 201.65 in the 3 meter.

Nick DeRobles also got a win in the 500 free, posting a time of 4:52.33, while Cristoph Hohenfeld also got a win in the 200 breaststroke with 2:12.37. 

Also taking first was the 400 free relay team of Hohenfeld, Jefferson, Jonah Sumfleth, and Nathan Marr. They had a winning time of 3:29.19.

DeRobles also had two second place finishes in the 1000 free (10:00.84) and the 200 free (1:48.98). Miguel Garcia also took second in two events - the 200 IM in 1:55.99 and the 200 butterfly in 1:54.38.

Also taking second was Matthew La Porte (500 free in 5:07.99) and Aublin Dulin (200 breaststroke in 2:12.41). The 400 medley relay team of Sumfleth, Dulin, Garcia, and Hohenfeld was also second in 3:32.02.
