Dragons turn up the offense in 6-0 win over Trojans

Tiffin University (5-1-2, 3-1-1 GMAC) scored early and often, posting three goals in each half en route to a 6-0 win over Trevecca Nazarene. 

The Dragons' 6 goals were their highest single game scoring total in 5 seasons (8-0 over Malone in 2014). They outshot TNU 30-9 including 13-3 in the first half.

Eduardo Carvalho got TU on the board in the 14th minute off a pass from Darren Appanah to make it 1-0.

Appanah continued the attack  just four minutes later when he knocked home a goal off a pass from Abdoul Magid Sy.

The Dragons made it 3-0 at halftime when Martijn Kuijs took a pass from Appanah and put it in the back of the net.

Eight of TU's 13 first half shots were on goal while TNU put all three of its shots on target only to be stopped by Dylan Morris in goal for TU.

The second half was similar, with TU outshooting the Trojans 17-6. Carvalho tacked on his second goal in the 65th minute off a pass from Sy to make it 4-0.

The Dragons' bench also got in on the action nover the final 15 minutes, with Chewe Mukuka scoring in the 86th minute off a pass from Cade Final, and Jared Hesketh put another goal on the scoreboard in the 90th minute off a pass from Kuijs.

Overall Morris got the win in goal, making 5 total saves over 90 minutes for the shutout.
