Tiffin University (4-0-2, 2-0-1 G-MAC) remained unbeaten in the 2019 season with a solid 3-1 victory over Trevecca Nazarene.

The Dragons found themselves trailing for the first time this season, as their streak of five consecutive games without allowing a goal came to an end in the 6th minute when Michael Jones scored to put Trevecca ahead 1-0 early. The scoreless streak was the longest in Tiffin's Division II history and one of the longest streaks in school history.

The early deficit fired the Dragons up, as they responded in the 7th minute with the equalizer. Darren Appanah took a pass from Joel Daly to make it 1-1.

The score remained tied until early in the second half, when Leo Hasenstab tallied another goal in the 46th minute off a pass from Samuel Costello to give TU the lead for good.

Hasenstab got a big insurance goal in the 77th minute on an unassisted shot. The goal gives him a team and G-MAC leading 6 goals and 13 points this season.

The Dragons defense grew even more stingy after allowing the early goal. TU allowed no shots on goal over the final 82 minutes of the game. TU outshot TNU 13-5 (7-2 shots on goal), while also holding a big 10-1 edge in corner kicks.
