Question: How many shots on goal has Tiffin University's 2019 defense allowed in 400 minutes?

Answer: 12.

The Dragons' defense once again was on fire, allowing just one shot on goal at Northwood in a big 1-0 victory.

The team has not allowed a goal yet this season, posting their fourth straight shutout, and are averaging just 3 shots on goal allowed per game. Against Northwood, TU did not allow a shot on goal until just 17 seconds remained in the game, which goalkeeper Dylan Morris stopped to preserve the victory.

The Dragons got all the scoring they would need in the 78th minute when Darren Appanah took a pass from Eduardo Carvalho and took it on a long run, knocking home a goal on the right side.

Overall TU outshot Northwood 11-5, holding the Timberwolves to without a shot in the opening half.

The Dragons improve to 2-0-2 and stay on the road this week with games at Findlay on Sept. 18 and Trevecca Nazarene on Sept. 21 as they return to G-MAC play.
