Dylan Morris has been named G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week after the Dragons' 2-0 week.

Morris made a bit of Great Midwest history for the Dragons as the first conference weekly selection (along with football's Nick Watson) since becoming a member institution.

And a special week it was for the rookie netminder with a pair of clean sheets to start his collegiate career against Slippery Rock and Illinois Springfield.

Tiffin, picked third in the conference preseason coaches poll, showcased their defensive prowess as both opponents combined for just 21 total shots.

Morris made a save in each half of the season opener against Slippery Rock as the Dragons lone goal was pushed across the line just before the first half expired.

He made one stop against Slippery Rock as Tiffin was the eventual winner in overtime.
