Tiffin University (6-6-3, 4-4-2 GLIAC) could not put a shot in the net, as Northwood remained in first place with a solid 4-0 victory at Paradiso Fields.
The Dragons started strong, peppering Northwood with shots but not striking gold. The Timberwolves, meanwhile, made the most of their shots on goal, scoring in the 16th minute on a shot into the right corner and in the 26th minute off a shot from 30 yards out to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Northwood took control in the second half, outshooting TU 10-3 in the half while holding TU to no shots on goal and no corner kicks in the final 45 minutes.
Northwood expanded its lead with a rebound off a free kick in the 60th minute and their final goal in the 67th minute off a shot to the far right corner.
Cary Wilson took the loss in goal, allowing 4 goals and making 2 saves over 85 minutes.
