Tiffin University (6-5-3, 4-3-2 GLIAC) could not hold a 2-0 halftime edge, falling in hearbreaking fashion in the game's final minute 3-2 at Saginaw Valley State.

With just 52 seconds remaining, the Cardinals' Oakley Hanger took a shot that bounced off a TU defender and into the goal, completing a comeback for SVSU that saw them score all three goals in the final 45 minutes.

Tiffin opened the game in strong fashion, as Abdoul Magid Sy took a pass from Marc Albert Feliu and chipped it in from 5 yards out to jump ahead 1-0.

They made it 2-0 when Kangni Gabianou headed home Scott Byrom's corner kick as the Dragons opened up a two goal lead at halftime.

SVSU's Matt Wilson got the Cardinals on the board in the 68th minute, sending a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. They then equalized in the 80th minute when Michael Hamilton scored off a cross.

The Dragons, who were outshot 27-13, managed only 2 shots on goal, scoring on both shots in the first half. The Cardinals kept up the attack, totaling 12 shots on goal, with Cary Wilson making 9 saves in goal for TU in the losing effort.

The Cardinals also led in corner kicks 7-3.
