Men's Golf tied for 12th after round one of Midwest/Central regional

Tiffin University was tied for 12th of 20 teams after the first round of Midwest/Central regional at Noblesville, Indiana.

Two rounds were scheduled due to incoming weather but the rain ended things early in round two. With rain forecast for much of day two, the remaining schedule is subject to change over the next couple days.

Grand Valley State leads the regional with 285, followed by Arkansas Tech and Central Missouri with 288. Trevecca Nazarene is right behind with 290. The top six teams will advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships.

Tiffin is tied with Rogers State and Southern Indiana with 299. Leading the way is Nico Kyprian with 73, good for a tie for 20th overall.

Michael Weppernig (74) and Noah Barth (75) are also close to the lead for TU, with David Siegel also hanging close with 77. Matt Flynn is fifth for TU with 83.

Play is scheduled to continue on May 6 subject to weather.
