Dragons tied for first after day one of Kyle Ryman Memorial

Tiffin University was in a battle Wittenberg on day one of the Kyle Ryman Memorial, tying for first place out of the 16 team field at Mohawk Golf Club.

The Dragons were consistent with rounds of 289 and 288 for 577, while Wittenberg opened with 291 and cut five strokes off for 286 in round two to match TU's 577 total. Findlay was right behind in third with 588.

Britton Hensel was leading the field with solid rounds of 71 and 70 for 141. Overall the Dragons had four players in the Top 10, with Nico Kyprian coming in fourth with 143 (71-72). David Siegel was 7th overall with 146 (74-72) and Cameron McCloskey was 9th with 147 (73-74). Noah Barth fell off from 74 to 81 in round two to finish with 155.

Tiffin's B squad also did well, finishing day one in 8th place. 

Their top four golfers were within four strokes of each other. Felix Salomonsson shot 152, Sam Reid fired 154, Colton Vincelette finished with 155, and William Evans had 156. Cole Cisco brought up the rear with 161.
