Tiffin finishes 5th at the Doc Spragg Invite

Tiffin University fell back just slightly from round two, finishing 5th of 18 teams at the Doc Spragg Invitational held at the Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio.

Overall Wayne State won with 872, just edging Findlay's 873. Missouri-St. Louis settled in at 880, while Bellarmine (882) and the Dragons (890) were right behind. 

The Dragons could not match their stellar round two score of 292, falling 12 strokes back for 304 in round three. 

David Siegel finished 7th overall, shooting 73 after his school record round of 66 the day before. He led the Dragons with a 215 total. 

Britton Hensel wass next, staying consistent with a 76 in round three for 223, while Nico Kyprian fell off from 75 to 77 in round three for 226. Noah Barth was also two strokes different on the last day (76-78) for 229, while Cameron McCloskey was the lone Dragon to improve on day two, cutting three strokes off (81-78) for 232.

"I'm very proud of my guys for fighting back to a top 5 finish in the strongest field we will see all season," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "We have a week off and then it's time to prepare for our home event, the Kyle Ryman Memorial. We can't wait for the Dragon faithful to come out to Mohawk and support us."
